GRACE ADAMCZYK

Grace Adamczyk is a trans-disciplinary artist living and working in New York City where she graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Fine Arts and a minor in Creative Writing. Her practice is material-based, moving between textiles, painting, drawing, and collage to envision spaces the body must negotiate.

By utilizing a scale of 1:1, the work evokes sensation in an engulfing manor, forcing the body to examine how it revisits, omits, recalls, holds, stores, and eventually concludes. The nature of the work is crude, and preliminary in its rendering as it attempts to connect incidents and relationships to deconstruct personal myths.
