Maiia is an artist from the Bay Area who enjoys turning to colored pencils, watercolor, and pen when words fail to sufficiently serve her purposes of expression and exploration. She’s finding more and more often that they do. Her pieces attempt to capture the loopy, grotesque, and playful parts of life— to process the unprocessable.
